Paul's Second letter to the Thessalonians

Reason for Writing: After sending his first letter, Paul learned that the Thessalonian believers were experiencing new difficulties and confusion. Some had misunderstood his teaching about the Day of the Lord, believing it had already come or was immediately at hand. This caused anxiety and some members to stop working.
